Assistant Branch Manager - Cambridge and Berkshire

McVeigh Parker Fencing and Farming Suppliers are looking for 2 dynamic Assistant Managers for our Cambridgeshire and Berkshire branches.

As an assistant branch manager you will play a key role in the success of your branch, supporting the branch manager. You will be focussing on branch sales and deliveries, customer retention and development of new markets. You will also assist ensuring colleagues and customers conform to all aspects of health and safety.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in ensuring the branch operates efficiently, safely, and profitably.
• Create a constant drive towards increased sales and customers, whilst maintaining a solid base of regular customers with your exceptional service.
• Promote a positive and collaborative work environment. Motivate, mentor, and lead your team to success, ensuring each member feels able to contribute their best.
• Help with stock purchasing, maintaining appropriate stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Implement and uphold best practices to maintain a high standard of professionalism and integrity.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and changes, adapting the branch's strategies and operations to meet evolving market demands.

• Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in a branch management capacity.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Energy and creativity to drive sales forward.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
